Toast to Wildlife Banquet

Join us for our annual Toast to Wildlife on November 8th at 5 p.m.

-Live and Silent Auction

-50/50 Raffle

-Food catered by Yoder's Kitchen

Proceeds from the event will provide the funds necessary for S.A.B.L.E. to build winter accommodations connected to our current kangaroo habitat. During the warmer months, the four kangaroos and one wallaby live in a habitat that is part of the walk-thru portion of the park. This allows our Aikman Wildlife staff to provide educational Kangaroo Encounters. As of today’s date, over 1,000 visitors have been able to interact with and learn more about these amazing marsupials through an encounter experience!

However, as Illinois temperatures drop, we must move these species into the winter barns located on the other side of the park. By creating winter accommodations that connect to the current habitat, we will remove the kangaroos’ stress of being moved and provide better enrichment activities during the milder fall-winter days. Furthermore, this would enable us to offer Kangaroo Encounters throughout the year, growing S.A.B.L.E.’s goal to educate the public about wildlife in need.

Thank you to our sponsors!
