Arctodus

About
Arctodus, also known as the giant short-faced bear, was a genus of prehistoric bears. It is considered to be one of the largest known terrestrial mammalian carnivores that have ever existed.
Fun Facts
It is suggested that Arctodus was highly carnivorous and as an adult would have required around 35 lbs of meat per day to survive. Due to its long legs it is suggested it could reach speeds of 30-40 mph.
