Saving Animals By Lasting Encounters

S.A.B.L.E. was selected as the moniker for operational support partner of the Aikman Wildlife Adventure in 2015. It was chosen both because of identity as an iconic African antelope and as the acronym for Saving Animals By Lasting Encounters. Since its founding, the Aikman Wildlife Adventure Park has been at the forefront of animal care, conservation, and education in central Illinois. And its influence and audience engagement continue to grow. In its ongoing efforts to create a better world for wildlife, the Park has created a platform for audiences of all ages to learn about wildlife, their habitats, and their importance by focusing on a variety of species and providing impactful, personalized, and engaging educational programs.

S.A.B.L.E. – as the Park’s philanthropic partner – is the conduit through which the public, donors, and volunteers provide both critical and exceptional care for its wildlife residents concurrently with ensuring educational programs that inspire and enrich minds of all ages and interests that are accessible to all.
