Carnotaurus lived during the late Cretaceous period. It was a lightly built bipedal predator having thick horns above the eyes, a feature unseen in all other carnivorous dinosaurs.

Fun Facts

Studies show that Carnotaurus was capable of quick bites, but not strong ones. Quick bites are more important than strong bites when capturing small prey.
