The green-winged macaw is commonly confused with a scarlet macaw because of its bright red body. However, a green-winged macaw also has green upper wings and blue bottom wings. Green-winged macaws are native to South and Central America.

Second largest size to other macaws. Commonly referred to as the “gentle giant.” These birds usually only have one mate for life.
