The Ankole-Watusi, also known as Ankole Longhorn, is a breed of cattle originally native to Africa.

Fun Facts

Ankole were first domesticated in parts of Africa such as Uganda, Rwanda, and Kenya for thousands of years. These native cattle are adapted to survive several months without ample food and water. Its large distinctive horns can reach up to 8 ft from tip to tip. These horns are used for defense and cooling due to the honeycombs of blood vessels inside them.
